Eric W. Biederman のsysctlシステムコールなんか誰も使ってないんだから、みんな/proc/sys を使えばいいんだパッチシリーズがマージ。
実はほんの少数ユーザが残っていることが分かったので
・sysctl.c からはsysctlシステムコール対応のコードを全削除
・sysctl_binary.c を新設し、sysctl()システムコールが呼ばれたらテーブルlookupして適切な文字列を引数に
sysctl.c のテキスト版sysctl処理を呼び出す
・個々のsysctlハンドラからはsysctl()システムコールインターフェースを削除。新規チューニングパラメタは
/proc経由で使うのが必須

という感じになっている。sysctlコマンドがsysctl()システムコールを使ってない時点でsysctl()の残存ユーザがいたことにビックリだよ。

むしろ、そんなハードが現存していたことにビックリだよ！
